- Star activity may be observed with glycerol concentrations >12% or with enzyme:DNA ratios >25u/ÎĽg.
- Sensitive to CpG methylation.
- SgfI is inactivated by freezing at –70°C.
- Ends generated by SgfI can be directly ligated to ends generated by PvuI. The PvuI site is regenerated in the ligation product, but the SgfI site is not.
Incubation Conditions: Buffer C. 37°C.
Source: Streptomyces fulvissimis.
Storage Buffer: 10mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.4), 300mM KCl, 0.1% Thesit®, 0.1mM EDTA, 1mM DTT, 0.5mg/ml BSA, 50% glycerol.
