Description

Get Up and Running Quickly

The GloMax® Explorer is a high-performance multimode plate reader that allows you to get up and running quickly, generating the data you need from your experiments. Simply unpack it, plug it in, and begin your experiments. You can also interpret your results using integrated data analysis software. Developed with Promega reagents to provide a simple means of detecting advanced chemistries, the GloMax® Explorer measures luminescence, fluorescence intensity and visible absorbance. The GloMax® Explorer can be used as a standalone plate reading instrument or integrated into your high-throughput automated workflow.

Preloaded Protocols for Faster, Easier Data Analysis

GloMax® plate readers have high sensitivity and a wide dynamic range, so you can detect both high and low signals on the same plate and have confidence in the accuracy of the signal recorded from each well. These instruments provide a range of options for your throughput needs and are equipped with integrated software that makes data analysis easy. GloMax® instruments come preloaded with protocols designed to work seamlessly with a wide variety of Promega luminescent and fluorescence-based assays at the touch of a button.

GloMax® Application Notes

No need to reinvent the wheel—we’ve already used GloMax® instruments for everything from cell viability, toxicity and metabolism, kinase and cell signaling, reporter gene assays, nucleic acid quantitation for NGS sequencing, PROTACs and protein degradation, bioassays, BRET, ELISAs and even water quality testing. Search our Application Notes collection for examples using GloMax® instruments with a wide range of bioluminescence- and fluorescence-based assays.

Performance

The GloMax® Explorer multimode plate reader delivers maximum flexibility with minimal user intervention and can be integrated into low- and medium-throughput automation workflows. This instrument provides researchers superior luminescence sensitivity and dynamic range for both strong and weak bioluminescence experimental samples, as well as a seamless integration with Promega’s bioluminescent cell and gene reporter assays.

Accurate Results from Every Well

There are three ways that microplate readers can affect how much useful information you get from each plate. Poor sensitivity may cause you to miss low-level samples that could be the “hit” you are looking for. Letting the signal from bright wells spill into adjacent wells allows crosstalk to occur and skews your experimental results. And a narrow detection range limits the accuracy and reproducibility that your work requires. With the GloMax® plate readers, you can rest easy and have confidence in your results.

Glomax® microplate readers offer superior sensitivity and auto-gain adjustment letting you measure weak and strong signals on the same plate.

GloMax plate readers minimize crosstalkMasking so crosstalk doesn’t mislead your results

The masking design of GloMax® microplate readers means you can be confident that the results from each well are not skewed by signal from neighboring wells.

GloMax plate readers detect a broad signal rangeBroad detection range so you don’t limit your experiments

With the broad detection range of GloMax® microplate readers, you can measure signals ranging from high intensity to near physiological levels.
