Description
Manual Protocol for Rapid Viral Nucleic Acid Extraction
The ReliaPrep™ Viral TNA Miniprep System uses spin columns for rapid centrifugation-based processing of viral samples. The system contains enough reagents for 250 extractions and can be used to successfully extract viral RNA from CSF, sputum and universal transport medium (UTM) for detection using qPCR assays. See the Application Notes provided below for data and example protocols.
Application Notes: Viral RNA Extraction
The application notes below contain protocols, materials lists and example data using the ReliaPrep™ Viral TNA Miniprep System for isolate viral RNA from different sample types.
Detection of RSV and Influenza B RNA extracted from UTM® for Virus (UTM). See Application Note: Extraction of Viral RNA from Universal Transport Medium for experimental details.
